Burglaries and attempted Burglaries – Las Ramblas-Altamira

Urgent Attention.

Burglaries and attempted Burglaries – Las Ramblas-Altamira

A number of you will know that on Thursday, the 3rd November and over that weekend and the following weekend there were three burglaries and a number of attempted burglaries within the Altamira Community. As soon as this came to the attention of your Committee and our Administrators steps were taken to liaise with the Police and for other steps to be taken to endeavour to improve security.

It is up to each owner to take their own steps to ensure as far as they are able the security of their home. However, Committee representatives have very recently had a meeting with CRAC the security company who have a large number of contracts with owners in Las Ramblas. As a result of the meeting patrols are being stepped up and we are now waiting for them to contact us with further proposals to improve security. You will be kept informed of developments.

It is thought that the burglars entered Altamira via the golf course and it seems that the crimes were committed during hours when the occupants were out in the evening. Please be vigilant and if you see or hear any suspicious behavour please immediately call the Police by phoning 112.
